Frederick Varley Art Gallery is located across the street from the curling club.  Varley was a resident of Unionville and is recognized as one of the group of Seven.

There are a variety of antique stores, fashion shops, excellent restaurants, pubs and bars.  Unionville is a trendy place to visit with genuine hospitality.
When the weather conditions are appropriate Toogood Pond is available for outdoor skating.

Within five minutes drive west of Unionville Mains Street you will find good hotels, Markham's Civic Centre, Markham Theatre, Movie theatres, more shopping and restaurants. 

Also of interest is the Slavic Cathedral of the Transfiguration located on Woodbine Avenue North, with its gold leaf domes and giant bells.

Neighbouring Communities of Markham. (East of Kennedy) and Richmond Hill (West of Kennedy) are thriving suburbs of Toronto to the south.

Markham Stouffville Hospital is located in Markham, north of Highway #7 east of Markham Road at Ninth Line.
